Just before the new year I found myself with a day off from the skier invasion of Tahoe and I decided to go climbing. I went to the Doyle boulders again because they were about the only thing dry for 200miles in any direction. This time I drove a little further along the Widowmaker trail in the Off-Road Vehicle area and found a good cluster of lowballs, one of which contained a quality v3 (seen below). Amanda and I had a great day of climbing, navigating, and enjoying the peace and quiet. She sent a couple 0s herself. It's great to know that even while the snow is actively falling in Tahoe there is still dry enjoyable climbing to be had if you just drive for an hour.
